A credential evaluation compares academic and professional degrees earned in one country to those earned in another, determining the U.S. or Canadian equivalency of your international education.

Professional Licensing / Healthcare

If you have studied outside the U.S. and are trying to be licensed, a foreign credential evaluation report may help you meet the educational requirements. We provide reports for all dentists or pharmacists, and the exclusive evaluator for the ADA and NABP.

And for point of care staff, our reports fulfill requirements for CAP and CLIA.

According to the U.S. State Department, foreign educational transcripts will not be accepted for federal positions requiring educational transcripts as part of the application. Foreign education (defined as education acquired outside of any state in the U.S., the District of Columbia, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, a Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands, or any territory or possession of the U.S.) must be evaluated by a recognized credential evaluation service, like ECE. 

In most cases we recommend a General evaluation report ($110). If you are working with a recruiter, please ask them to confirm what report type you need.

Cosmetology & Barbering

We can prepare your foreign education evaluation report if you’re seeking a license as a cosmetologist (including manicurist and esthetician) or barber in: Florida, Kansas (for high school credential evaluations only, not for training/professional certification), Missouri, Pennsylvania, and Utah. If your state is not listed, we cannot prepare a report for you. Sorry! 

In most cases, we recommend a General report ($110). Please contact your licensing board to confirm what type of report you need.
 

Immigration

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) recommends credential evaluation reports for almost all visas requiring applicants to have the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree or higher. If you are applying for an H-1B or a Green Card, you will need a credential evaluation report to meet these requirements.

In most cases, we recommend a General evaluation ($110). If you are working with an immigration attorney, or a U.S. employer, you should check the requirements for your situation.
