Sheree Yates

Sheree became part of the ECE in 1999, kicking off a journey that’s spanned over two decades of HR expertise and people-first leadership. She has played a key role in shaping ECE’s HR function - mixing heart, strategy, and knowledge to create a workplace where both people and the organization can truly thrive. She brings a mix of leadership magic, organizational transformation, employee development, and benefits expertise- all in service to her true passion of helping others shine. Sheree is all about people, purpose, and progress.

Her love for learning runs deep—she holds a bachelor’s in psychology from UW–Milwaukee and two master’s degrees from UW–Platteville in Organizational Change Leadership and Strategic Management. Her SHRM-SCP and PHR certifications reflect a commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and excellence in HR leadership.

A well-known leader in Wisconsin’s HR world, holding multiple influential roles with SHRM chapters and the Wisconsin SHRM State Council—including Chapter President, Certification Director, District Director, Foundation Director, and CLA Director. When she’s not shaping the future of HR, you’ll find Sheree staying plugged into the academic world and local community, sharing her time and talents on boards like UW–Platteville, Pius XI High School, and Forward Service Corporation.
