UNMC IPAP Application Instructions

The University of Nebraska Medical Center Interservice Physician Assistant Program (UNMC IPAP) provides a centralized application service (CAS). Follow these instructions to order an ECE® foreign education credential evaluation report through your UNMC IPAP account.

Report Type

The University of Nebraska Medical Center Interservice Physician Assistant Program (UNMC IPAP) requires a Course by Course credential evaluation report.

Course by Course ($195)

Used for:

  • Further education (high school, college, or university)
  • Employment
  • Professional licensure

If we recommend the U.S. equivalent of university level study, your report will include:

  • U.S. equivalence for each educational credential
  • Credit and grade equivalents
  • Grade average for each educational credential
  • Identification of upper-level courses for undergraduate or professional studies
  • General evaluation of high school level credentials (without a grade average), if included for evaluation

If we recommend ONLY the U.S. equivalent of high school level study, your report will include: 

  • U.S. equivalence for each high school credential
  • Unit and grade equivalents
  • Grade average for each high school credential

Apply Online

Before applying:

✔ You will need to create an ECE® user account, if you do not already have one. Your email address used for your ECE® account needs to be an exact match to the email address used on your CAS account.

✔ Once you have an ECE® user account, be sure to completely log out of your ECE® account before accessing your UNMC IPAP account.

✔ You MUST begin the application process on the UNMC IPAP site.

✔ If you already had an ECE® Course by Course evaluation report completed within the last 5 years, read the section below about Ordering Copies.

To apply for an ECE® Evaluation Report:

  1. Complete the UNMC IPAP application and get a Centralized Application Service (CAS) ID#.

  2. From your UNMC IPAP account, choose to order an ECE® Evaluation.

  • You will be redirected to the ECE® login page.

  1. Log in to your ECE® account.

  2. Complete the online application for an ECE® Course by Course evaluation report.

  • An official copy for UNMC IPAP will be added to your order.

  1. After you submit your application and payment, arrange for your educational documents to be delivered to ECE according to the ECE® country-specific documentation requirements:

After you apply ECE will:

  • Review your documents and contact you if anything else is needed.

  • Prepare an official credential evaluation report.

  • Deliver the completed evaluation to UNMC IPAP electronically. 

  • Send an unsealed copy of the evaluation to your address.

Ordering Copies

If you already had an ECE® Course by Course evaluation report completed within the last 5 years, you can order a copy sent to the University of Nebraska Medical Center Interservice Pjysician Assistant Program (UNMC IPAP).

✔ Note: Be sure to completely log out of your ECE® user account before accessing your UNMC IPAP account.

  1. Complete the UNMC IPAP and get a Centralized Application Service (CAS) ID#.
  2. From your UNMC IPAP, choose to order an ECE® Evaluation.
  • You will be redirected to the ECE® login page.
  1. Log in to your ECE® account.
  2. Complete a Copy Request Order for an official copy to UNMC IPAP.
  • ECE will deliver the completed evaluation report to UNMC IPAP electronically.
