Q & A Session.
Q: What's your background? What did you do before joining ECE?
I grew up in Guangxi, China, a region famous for its unique karst landscape, so iconic it was featured as a backdrop in Star Wars: Episode III.
Before immigrating to the United States, I worked as an International Sales Specialist, managing global accounts and selling medical equipment to clients around the world.
Q: What do you like most about working at ECE?
I truly appreciate my friendly and supportive colleagues, as well as the opportunity to explore the world and learn about different cultures every day through educational documents.
Q: What are three words that describe ECE's culture?
Friendly, Flexible, Collaborative
Q: What’s one of your favorite activities when you’re not working? Tell us something that others might find surprising.
When I'm not working, I enjoy baking with my kids and watching Chinese costume dramas—they’re rich in history, culture, and dramatic storytelling!
Q: Where have you traveled inside or outside of the U.S.? Do you have a favorite country, city, or region that you like to visit?
I travel frequently outside of the U.S. for both personal and professional reasons. I’ve traveled to many countries across Asia and Europe, including India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, and more. If I could teleport right now, I would choose to visit one of the southernmost cities in the world—Ushuaia, Argentina.
Q: Do you have a favorite cuisine? If yes, a particular dish you love?
No surprise—my favorite cuisine is Chinese! I can’t pick just one dish. My hometown is known for its spicy snails, rice noodles, and steamed pork with rice flour. These are the dishes I would recommend to anyone visiting Guangxi, China.
