Cosmetology & Barbering

We prepare foreign education evaluation reports for individuals seeking a license as a cosmetologist (including manicurist and esthetician) or barber in the following states: Texas. Florid, Kansa, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Utah

Professional / Health Licensing

If you have studied outside the U.S. and are trying to be licensed, a foreign credential evaluation report may help you meet the educational requirements. We currently provide reports for all those who are seeking licensure as a dentist or pharmacist, and we provide reports for some states for cosmetology and accounting.

Immigration

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) recommends credential evaluation reports for almost all visas requiring applicants to have the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree or higher. If you are applying for an H-1B or a Green Card, you will need a credential evaluation report.

What is a credential evaluation?

A credential evaluation compares academic and professional degrees earned in one country to academic and professional degrees earned in another. Colleges, universities, employers and governments use credential evaluations to evaluate foreign education as part of the admission or hiring process.

Who needs a credential evaluation?

If you're coming to the U.S. from another country and need to convert the academic credentials you earned that country, you'll need a credential evaluation. This will help colleges, universities, and employers within the U.S. understand your academic credentials and qualifications.

Which type of credential evaluation is right for me?

The exact credential evaluation report you need will vary depending on the reason you need a report. We recommend contacting the school, employer, or licensing board to which you are applying to find out which type of report it requires. How much does a credential evaluation cost?

The cost of a credential evaluation depends on which type of evaluation you are ordering. Additional fees for rush service, copies and delivery may also affect your evaluation cost.

Do you evaluate work experience?

No, we only evaluate academic work and educational credentials.

How long will it take to prepare my evaluation report?

Processing times may vary, but typically a report is completed within 10 business days of receiving all required documentation and fees. We also offer Rush Service.

I already have an evaluation report, and now I need a new type of report. What should I do?

You must complete and submit a new application form, including the applicable fees and educational documents according to current ECE® documentation requirements.

Do I need to submit translations?
How can I obtain an English translation if I must send the educational document to you in a sealed envelope?

Yes, we require English translations for all documents issued in a language other than English.

Please do not submit original/certified translations since they will not be returned to you. Please submit complete, legible copies. You may prepare the translations yourself, as long as they are complete, literal, word-for-word, and in the same format as the original document.
