Report types available for U.S. institutions
General
Used for:
- Immigration
- Professional licensure
- Employment
- Military
Includes:
- U.S. equivalence for each educational credential
- Note: This report does not include an evaluation of individual courses, grades, or grade average (GPA).

General with Grade Average
Used for:
- Further education
Includes:
- U.S. equivalence for each educational credential
- Grade average for each university level credential. Note: If there is no university level study, a grade average for high school level study will be included.
Price: $135
Course by Course
Used for:
- Further education (high school, college, or university)
- Employment
- Professional licensure
- Recommended for military applicants with university-level study
If we recommend the U.S. equivalent of university level study, your report will include:
- U.S. equivalence for each educational credential
- Credit and grade equivalents for university level courses
- Grade average for each educational credential
- Identification of upper-level courses for undergraduate or professional studies
- General evaluation of high school level credentials (without a grade average), if included for evaluation
- MyDocs Academic Profile (MAP™) – A standardized transcript summary of actionable digitized data that includes basic student details, educational history, detailed coursework, GPA (term and cumulative), and built-in GPA calculators. MAP ™ is delivered via ECE DispatchTM, Slate, or other API system.
If we recommend ONLY the U.S. equivalent of high school level study, your report will include:
- U.S. equivalence for each high school credential
- Unit and grade equivalents
- Grade average for each high school credential
- MyDocs Academic Profile (MAP™) – A standardized transcript summary of actionable digitized data that includes basic student details, educational history, detailed coursework, GPA (term and cumulative), and built-in GPA calculators. Exclusive Use
These reports are prepared using academic documents provided by the requesting institution, which may include photocopied, scanned, or incomplete documents. These are available to be ordered only by institutions and organizations.
You can order the following reports as Exclusive Use Reports:
- General ($85)
- General with Grade Average ($110)
- Course by Course ($155)
- High School and University Level Course by Course ($190)
We enable institutions to build on an existing Exclusive Use Report. If you provide the necessary documentation following the completion of an Exclusive Use Report, the existing report can be converted to ECE’s standard report at a lower cost.
Subject Analysis
Used for:
- Professional licensure
- Excelsior University
Specific arrangements must be made between ECE and the referring licensing board or institution before this type of report can be prepared.
Includes:
- U.S. equivalence for each educational credential
- Credit and grade equivalents for university level courses
- Grade average for each university level educational credential
- Identification of upper-level courses for undergraduate or professional studies
- General evaluation of high school level credentials (without a grade average), if included for evaluation
- Specific information regarding course content as required by the referring institution or licensing board

NEW! ECE Translation WaiverTM
Institutions can now simplify the document submission process with the ECE Translation Waiver™. Whether you order a General, General with GPA, Course by Course, High School and University Level Course by Course report or Subject Analysis, this new option makes submitting documents easier than ever.
For a flat fee of $85, ECE will handle English translations of the documents submitted for evaluation. There’s no need for the applicant or institution to arrange translations in advance — and no added costs for multiple pages or documents.
This single fee covers all documents required for the evaluation, eliminating the time, expense, and hassle of translation services.
Please note: Translations completed under the ECE Translation Waiver™ are for evaluation purposes only and will not be provided to the applicant or the institution receiving the report.
