UNMC Application Instructions

The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) provides a centralized application service (CAS). Follow these instructions to order an ECE® foreign education credential evaluation report through your UNMC account.

Before applying:

✔ You will need to create an ECE® user account, if you do not already have one.

IMPORTANT: Your email address used for your ECE® account needs to be an exact match to the email address used on your CAS account.

✔ Once you have an ECE® user account, be sure to completely log out of your ECE® account before accessing your UNMC account.

✔ UNMC only accepts evaluation reports during open CAS cycles. More information on the CAS cycle can be found here: UNMC Cycle Dates.

Report Type

UNMC requires a Course by Course ($199) evaluation report.

If you already had an ECE® Course by Course evaluation report completed within the last 5 years, read the section below about Ordering ECE Report Copies.

To apply for an ECE® Evaluation Report:

You MUST begin the application process on the UNMC site. 

  1. Complete the UNMC application to receive a Centralized Application Service (CAS) ID#.   

    • It is very important that you add the international schools you attended in the Colleges Attended section of the UNMC account.

  2. From your UNMC account, select the ORDER ECE® Evaluation button from where you will be redirected to the ECE® login page.  

  3. Once logged in to your ECE® account, complete the online application for an ECE® Course by Course evaluation report.  

    • An official ECE report copy for UNMC will be automatically added to your order.  

  4. After the ECE online application has been submitted, send your educational documentation according to the ECE® country-specific documentation requirements.

Ordering ECE Report Copies

If you already had an ECE® Course by Course evaluation report completed within the last 5 years, you can order a copy sent to UNMC.

Be sure to completely log out of your ECE® user account before accessing your UNMC account.

IMPORTANT: ECE official report copies for UNMC should only be ordered when the UNMC cycle is open. If a copy is ordered prior to the UNMC cycle opening, it will not appear in your UNMC account, and a new copy will need to be ordered when the UNMC cycle opens.

  1. Complete the UNMC application to receive a Centralized Application Service (CAS) ID#.   

    • It is very important that you add the international schools you attended in the Colleges Attended section of the UNMC account.

  2. From your UNMC account, select the ORDER ECE® Evaluation button from where you will be redirected to the ECE® login page.  

  1. Log in to your ECE® account and complete a Copy Request Order for an official electronic copy to be delivered to UNMC.

    • An official ECE report copy for UNMC will be automatically added to your order.
